We are Eastern NC's premier puppy trainers and the nation's first Pupologists, REVOLUTIONIZING THE WAY WE RAISE OUR PUPS FOR THE BETTER! We are moving away from outdated methods of command and control, and instead, we emphasize: CUES, COMMUNICATION, and COLLABORATION.
Many of us feel overwhelmed by the traditional methods of raising our dogs, often frustrated by resources that only teach us to manage them in ways that minimize conflict with our families and homes. SBK-9 is leading the charge with a new approach to dog training we call PUPOLOGY.
Our goal is to empower dog owners by educating them about their pets' needs for happiness. Say goodbye to unwanted behaviors that can lead to rehoming or frustration, and hello to the dog you've always envisioned. Pupology is a lifestyle where we don’t ‘command’; we ‘cue’, we don’t 'train'; we teach, and we don’t 'command'; we communicate. It’s about building a balanced and harmonious relationship with your dog by breaking down the human-canine language barrier. Our pups cannot comprehend human language, so we must establish a communication method they understand. By eliminating this barrier, we equip owners with the knowledge to speak "dog" and transform the experience of living with our furry friends. As we like to say, "We are the Lorax for dogs," advocating for the voices they truly deserve.

BOARD & TRAIN
STARTING AT $1500 (2 WEEKS)
Join our tailored Board & Train program for puppies aged eight weeks to twelve months. With a minimum stay of two weeks, extending up to three months, we provide essential training for a well-behaved adult dog. Owners are encouraged to participate in sessions ensuring a smooth transition home. With Pupology, we equip you with the tools to integrate training into your lifestyle, helping you and your pup thrive together!

5 SESSION TRAINING PACKAGE
$350- FIVE (5), 45-60 MINUTE SESSIONS
This package includes five 60-minute sessions and is open to all ages. All new packages include a free consultation where we will build your Pupology Plan of Action. We are not a one-size-fits-all, as every owner and their pup is completely different. Together, we will create a plan that works for your unique situation.

We provide full-day and AM/PM half-day training packages available in sets of five or ten. Day training is available Monday through Friday and is perfect for everyone—whether you're a busy family, have a fluctuating schedule, are a first-time pet owner, or simply want to say "Goodnight" to your dog at the end of the day.

As certified AKC Evaluators, we offer personalized, one-on-one training programs tailored to meet the specific requirements of both the S.T.A.R. Puppy and CGC tests. Our curriculum is designed to maximize your dog's chances of success, and we provide both pre-test preparation and official testing. We take a customized approach, crafting each program based on your dog's individual needs and strengths.

* Basic obedience is a prerequisite for this training. Those with prior training outside of SBK9 must pass an aptitude test to determine proficiency before starting training.

LOOSE LEASH WORKSHOP
$225-2, TWO HOUR PRIVATE WORKSHOPS
Tired of being dragged around by your dog on walks? Our exclusive one-on-one leash training workshop gives you the knowledge and skills to transform your walks completely. Spanning two private sessions of two hours each, our workshop ensures in-depth learning and personalized feedback. After applying the techniques in the first session, you'll return for a second session to fine-tune your skills. By the end of the workshop, you'll have the confidence and techniques to turn your canine companion into the perfect walking buddy!
